Description3 Luxury 4 Star Gold Award holiday cottages in the South Shropshire Hills. The Barn sleeps 6, Daisy's Place and Gooseyard Cottage both sleep 2. Pets are welcome by arrangement in Gooseyard.
There are three luxury 4 star Gold rated holiday cottages and a 2 ½ acre fishing lake set in some of the most beautiful countryside in Shropshire.
The cottages have been renovated from traditional farm buildings in the courtyard of the farmhouse and have recently been refurbished to an excellent standard. They are all provided with Egyptian cotton linen, luxury towels, a selection of soap and shampoo, LCD televisions with a small library of films to choose from as well as tea, coffee and biscuits for your arrival. The kitchens are particularly well equipped for the keenest cooks. All the cottages have oil fired central heating. There is a shared laundry room with freezers and extra fridges provided.
We have also created an excellent outside and undercover eating/patio area for all guests to use. Loungers and barbeques are provided.
We have our own spring water, which is tested annually.

The Barn is a very attractive timber framed, 15th century grade II listed building. It has been beautifully refurbished and sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms. There is a double bedroom on the ground floor with large ensuite bathroom comprising of a bath, WC, sink and separate shower. The other two bedrooms each have their own staircase. The first is a twin room and the other a large double with another bathroom opposite it. The downstairs has open plan living and dining area with separate kitchen.
'Daisy’s Place and ‘Gooseyard Cottage’ sleep 2 people each and are very similar to each other in size and shape. They have both been beautifully refurbished with new kitchens that segregate the open plan space downstairs. They both have 1 large bedroom each with a zip and link, which when linked together is a super king sized bed.
Fishing at Middle Farm
Middle Farm pool is a mature well stocked stream fed pool tucked away in the spectacular South Shropshire hills to the west of the Long Mynd. The pool is well stocked with carp, tench and golden orfe. On the dam side of the pool the depth is about 12 feet shallowing out to an average of 4 feet. We offer one day’s free fishing with weekly lets. Day tickets can be purchased.

From Shrewsbury by-pass take A49 south (Leominster). At Dorrington turn right, to Picklescott. In centre turn left at staggered crossroads, to Betchcott. Middle Farm is just over ½ mile on left. From south on A49 turn left into Church Stretton at traffic lights. From main street, turn right into Shrewsbury rd (by Lloyds). In All Stretton take 1st left after Yew Tree pub onto Castle Hill. Go over 2 cattle grids & straight on at cross roads. Middle Farm is a mile from crossroads on right.
