Description

Frog Cottage is a delightful character cottage with two double bedrooms. Situated in a quiet area under the old town wall, it is just a few minutes walk to Ludlow's centre.

The front door leads into a well equipped kitchen, with tiled floor. Appliances include gas hob, electric oven, extraction fan, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, blender and iron.

In the next room, there is a dining area at one end and the lounge at the other. There are wooden floors throughout, with rugs.

The lounge has a cast iron gas fire, sat in the original fire place. There is a television and DVD/CD player and portable radio CD/tape player. Wi-Fi broadband is also available in the cottage.

In the sideboard we have a number of CD's, DVD's and games to play.

Up the wooden winding staircase, there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom has a double bed, with bed linen provided, television and a radio alarm. There are also two bedside tables with drawers and cupboards, one chest of drawers and a built in wardrobe. The second bedroom has a double bed, also with bed linen. It is small but comfortable, and has a calming feel. There is a chest of drawers, while a built in wardrobe is situated just outside on the landing. The bathroom has a shower bath, sink and toilet. A large bath towel and hand towel is provided for each person.

Included in your stay are permits for one car for the blue zone on street parking. The nearest parking area is St John's Road and St John's Lane 300 yards to the left of the cottage.

There are six steps into the cottage, which makes access for wheelchairs quite difficult. The kitchen floor area is 1.5 x 2.5 metres, so a wheelchair or pram would make the space tricky to move around. It is possible to leave them just inside the front door.

Travel cot and high chair can be provided on request. There is much to do in Ludlow and its beautiful surrounding area. We suggest you look at www.ludlow-shropshire.com, and when visiting Ludlow, the Visitor Information Centre. There are a number of things to do and ideas for walks in our information folder.

Your stay will include 10% discount in our 140 year old family run clothing business, Bodenhams.

We hope your stay will be an enjoyable one, whether with us, or at any other cottage in the area.

Happy Times
