Description

Is this the best kept secret in Ludlow? Newly refurbished ensuite accommodation in the heart of this historic town. Free parking - Free WiFi - Short walk to Castle, Museum and Church. Welcome to Ludlow Mascall Centre!

Originally built in 1857 as a national school, our beautiful Victorian building has been extended to provide residential accommodation for visitors to Ludlow and Shropshire.

We have seven twin rooms, one family room, and one room which has been designed for those with limited mobility in mind, having a spacious wet room with grab rails. Please contact us to enquire about the price of the family room. All of our rooms are bright, fresh and comfortable with ensuite toilets, basins and showers.

Continental breakfasts are provided as standard and home cooked breakfasts using locally sourced produce are available for a small extra charge. The full English breakfast includes Bacon, Sausage, Eggs, Tomatoes and Beans, as well as Toast, Fresh Fruit, Yoghurt, Fruit Juice, and Fairtrade Tea and Coffee. Packed lunches, half board and full board are also available.

We have a residents' lounge with comfortable chairs, coffee tables and a television. Tea and coffee making facilities are available for you to enjoy here. We also have a pretty courtyard garden with seating, winning ‘Best Community Garden’ during ‘Ludlow in Bloom 2012’.

Located in the heart of this beautiful market town, Ludlow Mascall Centre is within walking distance of the restaurants, markets, shops, pubs, museum, castle and church. In addition, the Shropshire Hills are right on your doorstep, with miles of beautiful countryside to explore.

Unusually in Ludlow, the Centre has ample free parking, so no need to worry about finding a parking space and no need to pay expensive parking charges.

The Centre retains an educational ethos and supports educational activities. Our facilities are used by a wide variety of groups and organisations including walkers, cyclists, nature-lovers, writers and artists. Come and discover Ludlow Mascall Centre for yourself!

'I have been so impressed by the positive atmosphere here. The staff have been so welcoming, kind and friendly, and nothing has been too much trouble. The food has been amazing - we are so glad we found you!' (September 2012)
