Wild foraging in the Hope Valley

Wild foraging in the Hope Valley in South Shropshire
Fancy a fry-up with a difference this Sunday 12th October 2014? Join us for wild foraging, followed by a scrummy cook-up with Rob Rowe and John Hughes, from Shropshire Wildlife Trust.

Discover the edible delights on offer at this time of year if you know where to look, and enjoy an autumnal ramble through the Hope Valley.

This event has been organised by the Stiperstones & Corndon Hill Country Landscape Partnership Scheme, a 5-year programme of work to raise awareness of, enhance and celebrate local history and wildlife.

The walk starts at 10am from Hope Village Hall, where we will return to cook our foraged treasures. We aim to finish by 1pm.

The event costs £5 per person. To book your place please contact the Stiperstones & Corndon Hill Country Landscape Partnership Scheme on 01938 561741, or email
