The Clive makes it into the hall of fame!
22nd May 2015
For the fifth year in a row, The Clive in Bromfield, Ludlow, has been awarded TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence. The latest success was announced on Wednesday and means that the hotel has been elevated into the travel website's Hall of Fame.
An integral part of the Ludlow Food Centre development, The Clive offers much to locals and visitors alike. With a restaurant recommended in the Michelin Guide and awarded two AA Rosettes; a relaxed, comfortable bar serving local beer and bar food; there are also 15 well-appointed guest rooms for overnight visitors. The Earl of Plymouth’s Oakly Park Estate provides locally reared meat, while the cheese and artisan bread is sourced from Ludlow Food Centre, just next door and fresh vegetables are grown in Lady Windsor's walled garden.
This latest praise for The Clive comes from the world's largest travel website. TripAdvisor introduced the Certificate of Excellence in 2010, to recognise outstanding hospitality businesses that receive consistently high scoring reviews by TripAdvisor travellers. Only establishments that have been awarded Certificate of Excellence for five years in a row become an esteemed member of the Hall of Fame.
Edward Berry, Managing Director of Ludlow Food Centre commented; "The Clive has an enviable reputation for delivering the very highest levels of satisfaction. Whether drinking in the bar, dining in the restaurant or staying overnight, we consistently aim to please all of our guests. We have made some changes recently and continue to make improvements, so this award happily recognises these ongoing efforts. My thanks go to all of our staff that have made this possible."
