Spring into cycling - March and April 2013 in South Shropshire
Throughout March and April 2013 Shropshire Council is organising free cycling activities to help you and family to get back on your bikes after winter. Free activities include bicycle maintenance and confidence courses, guided cycle rides, giveaways and competitions.

Full details of all the Spring into Cycling activities are available on the Travel Shropshire website www.travelshropshire.co.uk/spring.

If your bike needs a bit of TLC after winter, there are basic maintenance courses in Oswestry, Ludlow and Shrewsbury plus puncture repair sessions for parents at Bike It schools in Shrewsbury.

If you or your children need some help building confidence or skills on your bicycles, why not try free adult cycle training available across Shropshire*; Easter holiday family cycling courses in Shrewsbury; or learn to ride courses in Shrewsbury and Oswestry.

Finally, if you would like some company or support while cycling, there are guided cycle rides for all ages and abilities, plus great ideas for family cycle rides for the Easter holidays including treasure hunt routes for Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Ludlow.

In addition, sign up to receive the Travel Shropshire e-newsletter during March or April to receive a free puncture repair kit. You will also be entered into a prize draw to win one of 20 vouchers for a bicycle service. Full terms and conditions will be available on the Travel Shropshire website from 1 March 2013*.
