Shropshire Star Tourism Awards

Shropshire Star Tourism Awards
Congratulations to Henry and Rebecca at The Castle Hotel, Bishop’s Castle on winning the Shropshire Star Small Hotel of the year award.

It was a very hotly contested category with some excellent entries from all over the Shropshire.

The Castle Hotel has undergone sympathetic transformation over the last three years and is now one the highest ranked hotels in the county, and has also won the Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence this year. Owners Henry & Rebecca Hunter, who run the hotel, commented “What a great surprise to win The Shropshire Star award. We were up against some very high quality establishments in the county, so we are delighted to win, but much of the credit must go to our great staff who really do make the hotel what it is”.

The Castle Hotel has now been entered as Shropshire nomination for The Visit England Hotel of the Year awards.
