Bury Ditches Guided Walk, an Irresistible Offa

New Guided Bus & Train Walks in Mortimer Country & Radnorshire

The Walking with Offa project has produced a programme of guided bus and train walks targeted at 'Mortimer Country and Radnorshire' - from Ludlow across to Llandrindod Wells.

Visitors to Live the Adventure will be offered the chance to try a new outdoor pursuit, a cross between surfing and canoeing, stand-up paddle boarding, at the centre's annual open day next month. The event will be held in aid of the Riding for the Disabled Association, on Sunday April 28 between 11am-4pm.

Ludlow Food Centre win National Award

A Shropshire food producer and retailer has been awarded the highest accolade in the farm shop sector. The Ludlow Food Centre, in Bromfield, on the Earl of Plymouth’s Oakly Park Estate, was voted UK Farm Retailer Of the Year 2013 at this week’s FARMA (The National Farmers’ Retail and Markets’ Association) Awards.
