Onny Valley Round - guided walk

Onny Valley Round - guided walk in South Shropshire
Stretch your legs on Sunday 27th April 2014 and join local walks leader, Brian Wells, on the Onny Valley Round.

Brian, who organises and leads walks for the Bishop’s Castle Footpath Walking Group, will guide you on one of his favourite local walks, exploring the beautiful countryside surrounding the hilltop village of Wentnor.

This 7-mile circular walk includes a short climb up each side of the picturesque East Onny Valley. The rewards for the climbs are some fantastic views of the Shropshire Hills, and especially of the Long Mynd.

The walk starts at 10am from the church, St Michael and All Angels, in Wentnor, and uses quiet lanes, tracks and field paths. The walk will finish by 1.30pm.

Booking is essential, please call Alison, at the Shropshire Hills AONB Partnership, on 01588 674080 or email shropshirehillsaonb@shropshire.gov.uk. The cost is £3 or £2 for members of Friends of the Shropshire Hills AONB.
