Get Crafty this Halloween at RAF Cosford

Get Crafty this Halloween at RAF Cosford in South Shropshire
October half term is almost upon us and this year the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford has some devilishly easy Halloween crafts for your little monsters.

These spookily creative workshops will run from 28th October to 1st November between 11.00am and 3.00pm with all materials provided by the Museum.

28th October to 1st November 2013

£2.00 per person

With two frightfully fiendish activities available, your little devils can decide which scarily good experience they would like to master:

Spooky Treat Pots and Magnets – Perfect for trick or treating, our treat pots are a hideously fun way to collect your Halloween sweets and candies. Available in a gross Frankenstein or frightening pumpkin design, these screamingly good pots are made from pre-cut foam pieces, pipe cleaners and come complete with instructions on how to assemble it.  Once done your little monsters may also create a scary personalised fridge magnet by simply scratching a design onto the specially coated surface using a scratch tool to reveal the lurid colours hidden underneath.  With six diabolical designs to choose from including a bat, witch, haunted house, ghost, pumpkin and spider, mini-monsters will have everything that they need to make a creepy decoration for All Hallows Eve.

Scary Bean Bags and Bookmarks - Learn to sew like Dr Frankenstein and create your own spooky spiders using two design kits that include pre-cut felt shapes with pre-punched holes, self-adhesive felt pieces, yarn, safe plastic needle, bean bag and instructions.  Once you have completed your spider bean bag, why not try your hand at making one of our funky foam Halloween bookmarks.  There are four repulsively simple designs available including a ghastly pumpkin, maniacal witch, black cat and a spider, each kit contains a foam template, self-adhesive foam decorations, wiggle-eyes and instructions.

To participate in the events taking place this October Half Term, please purchase your ticket from the Admissions Desk on arrival. Participation is just £2.00 per person and for each of the activities, participants will get to take their creations home as a memento of the day.  For further information about the Museum, please visit the Museum website or call 01902 376200.  The Museum is open daily from 10am and entry to the Museum is FREE of charge.
