This list has event from Shropshire Hills Business Partnership networking events, Stiperstones & Corndon Hill conservation workshops, and local Cycle Events.

Refreshments will be provided, so booking is essential. Please let Alison know if you have any special dietary requirements.
These events are free for SBS members. Members may bring guests at a charge of £5 p.p

Brewery tour and visit to the new shop and visitor centre

"Hobsons is a local independent brewery based in Cleobury Mortimer south Shropshire. We are dedicated to producing wholesome real ale using the finest quality locally sourced ingredients and this practice has helped set the flavour of Hobsons apart from the competition. It has also played a key part in the recognition we have gained in the form of awards like CAMRA West Midlands Beer of the Year 2011 and Champion Beer of Britain 2007 for our Mild. Hobsons has also been commended for embracing sustainable technologies and harnessing its environmental assets, by winning the SIBA National award for Best Green Business in 2010."

"appleTeme is a new partnership, hand pressing local apples to create the most delicious tasting juice. We have been busy learning their trade from the popular and well respected Tickmore Apple Juice.

Using the traditional 'rack and cloth' method all the apples from Tickmore and other neighbouring orchards are hand pressed to create our unique flavoured apple juice."

Stiperstones & Corndon Hill Country Landscape Partnership Scheme

We will also be holding practical conservation tasks days at some of our most historic mining and quarrying sites including Poles Coppice, Snailbeach, Earl’s Hill, Nills Hill and The Bog. Please join us!  

All days from 10.30am-2.30pm, no experience necessary, training provided. Please see flyer attached.
