Come and join the 3-day festivities celebrating the Food, Farming and Arts of the Shropshire Hills at Acton Scott on 25th-27th August Bank Holiday weekend.

The August Bank Holiday at Acton Scott Historic Working Farm will have a special twist this year.  This popular visitor attraction will be teaming up with Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Partnership to offer a full weekend of activities, events and entertainment.

On Saturday 25th there will be Music, Poetry and Prose; Sunday 26th will feature Arts and Crafts; and Monday 27th will be celebrating Food and Farming.

As Jodie Griffith, Project Officer for Shropshire Hills AONB, describes “the three days will all be offering something slightly different, and there is a special ticket promotion so people can come to all three days for the price of one so it’s a great opportunity to explore the Farm and get involved with lots of different activities.

Come along for storytelling, folklore, arts and crafts activities, facepainting, cookery sessions, music and lots more.

The full weekend price is only £7 for adults, £4.50 for children (under 5s free) and family tickets start from £22.50. All of the activities are free, and there will be local arts and crafts stall on Sunday and food and drink stalls on Monday.
