Bog, frogs, bridges and knolls...autumn guided walk

Bog, frogs, bridges and knolls...autumn guided walk
Discover the delights of the beautiful Onny Valley on Sunday 19 October 2014 with local walks leader, Brian Wells.

This 9-mile guided walk starts at the Stiperstones National Nature Reserve and crosses the Onny Valley to Ratlinghope. A visit to the church will reveal a local sin-eaters grave, and there should be time for a stop in the popular Bridges pub, before completing this circular route and heading back to the Stiperstones.

This walk is one of a series of guided walks led by volunteers on behalf of the Shropshire Hills AONB Partnership.

This walk is just over 9-miles with some stiles. Please wear strong shoes or walking boots as the footpaths are uneven in places. The walk starts at 10am from Stiperstones National Nature Reserve car park, and will return by 3.30pm, so please bring refreshments with you.

Booking is essential, please call Alison at the Shropshire Hills AONB Partnership, on 01588 674080 or email shropshirehillsaonb@shropshire.gov.uk. The cost is £3 or £2 for members of Friends of the Shropshire Hills AONB
