 Walking in the footsteps of a World War 1 survivor Simon Evans

A way-marked walk up the Rea valley that follows the route of Simon Evans’ postal route.

Walk 5 of Shropshire’s War Walks on the Home Front takes you along part of his route to Detton where a bus will then drive the onward route to Hinton and back, the walking route then resumes back to Cleobury.

Along the route you will hear more about Simon’s life and readings from his articles and books.
