Shuttle buses back this Bank Holiday weekend!

Shuttle buses back this Bank Holiday weekend! in South Shropshire
Wanting an easy day out option this Bank Holiday Weekend, then look no further than the Shropshire Hills Shuttle buses for relaxing journey through stunning countryside.

Head to the hills for walking, enjoy lunch out at a country pub or cafe, indulge in a spot of shopping, discover medieval castles and fortified churches, or simply stay on the bus for a scenic tour.

Stephanie Hayes, Promotions Officer at the Shropshire Hills AONB Partnership, explains “The Shuttles can also be used to reach the big local events this Bank Holiday weekend including the Green Man Festival in Clun, the May Fair in Ludlow, or Snailbeach Mine which is open and leading underground tours.”

She continues “There are three Shuttle routes.  Two start from Church Stretton; the Wenlock Wanderer heads to Much Wenlock, and the Long Mynd & Stiperstones Shuttle, as the name suggests, travels west over these two distinctive ‘hills’.  The third Shuttle is ‘Castle Connect’ a new service from Ludlow which journeys along the beautiful Teme Valley to Knighton, then heads to Clun and Bishop’s Castle”.

You can hop on and off with a Day Rover Ticket (young person’s day rover is just £3), or buy a single ticket for a single journey.  Concessionary bus passes are accepted and tickets are purchased from the driver as you board the bus.

For more information on days out on the Shuttles see http://www.shropshirehillsshuttles.co.uk/.

The Shropshire Hills Shuttles buses run every weekend and Bank Holiday Mondays from 4 May to 29 September 2013.
