Shropshire's Michelin Stars Continue to Shine

Shropshire's Michelin Stars Continue to Shine
Two Shropshire restaurants feature within the 2009 Michelin guide

Mr Underhill's and La Becasse restaurants in Ludlow have secured inclusion within the prestigious Michelin guide.

La Becasse is a new entry to the guide, receiving its first star rating 18 months after having opened in the town with Mr Underhill's continuing to retain its coveted one star award.

Ludlow's inclusion with the guide continues the town's reputation as Shropshire's gastronomic capital with the town now home to two Michelin starred restaurants.

Mr Underhill's is run by proprietors Judy and Chris Bradley. Commenting on the award, Judy said they were delighted to have retained their star rating.

La Becasse's new inclusion within the guide really does prove that Shropshire's Michelin stars continue to shine
