Shropshire Hills Shuttle Buses

Shropshire Hills Shuttle Buses in South Shropshire
This year we are trialling a new linear Shuttle bus route between Much Wenlock and Church Stretton. The funding has come from the Shropshire Sustainable Transport Project.

The new Shuttle route is called the 'Wenlock Wanderer' and travels along the famed limestone escarpment of Wenlock Edge, through ancient woodland and into the majestic folds of the Stretton hills and the Long Mynd.  There are some great walks from this Shuttle bus, as well as fantastic views, welcoming country pubs and the chance to enjoy a day out at Acton Scott Historic Working Farm. Help us plan our new Ludlow Shuttle routes for 2103, by filling in the questionnaire

The 'Long Mynd & Stiperstones' Shuttle remains the same route over these two distinctive 'hill tops' and we have kept ticket prices the same as last year, so your £7 Adult Day Rover ticket gets you a lot more mileage for your money.  The Shuttles connect at Church Stretton and Carding Mill Valley allowing you to explore both Shuttle routes all day long.  You can also travel for free with a valid concessionary pass.

Next year we have funding to test a new route from Ludlow into the Shropshire Hills.  We are currently planning where this service might go, how it would operate and when, so please let us know what you think by clicking this link and filling in this short questionnaire

For copies of the Shuttle leaflet please contact Alison at the Shropshire Hills AONB Partnership on 01588 674080.  Details of Shuttle routes, including maps, timetables, ticket prices and walks is available on the Shuttle website, see
