Throughout March and April 2013 Shropshire Council is organising free cycling activities to help you and family to get back on your bikes after winter. Free activities include bicycle maintenance and confidence courses, guided cycle rides, giveaways and competitions.


New weekend Shuttle bus service from Ludlow confirmed for 2013

Ludlow Food Centre win National Award

A Shropshire food producer and retailer has been awarded the highest accolade in the farm shop sector. The Ludlow Food Centre, in Bromfield, on the Earl of Plymouth’s Oakly Park Estate, was voted UK Farm Retailer Of the Year 2013 at this week’s FARMA (The National Farmers’ Retail and Markets’ Association) Awards.

Tinsel Tuesdays in Ludlow

Ludlow promises to pack a punch for shoppers this December with a wholly new Christmas concept coined Tinsel Tuesdays. For every Tuesday in December the town will be offering free parking in all car parks between 2 and 6pm, courtesy of Shropshire Council and a new Christmas Gift Market that promises shoppers something a bit special. As well as a hog roast, music, impromptu panto previews by the crew of Aladdin from the Ludlow Assembly Rooms as well as some carol singing around the Christmas Tree. tish@ludlowchamber.co.uk Posters & flyers about tinsel Tuesday are available from Ludlow VIC.
