 The Arts Council Renaissance funded PR campaign is still delivering results with National Geographic Traveller magazine publishing an article on Shropshire focussing on Acton Scott and Severn Valley Railway.  Discover Britain published a full page on Acton Scott in the latest issue.

Ludlow Museum is moving at some point this year to the Buttercross and you can see first impressions of how it might look in its new home via the Twitter account @TheButterX or

The Shropshire Hills and Ludlow Destination Partnership is reviewing the Sustainable Tourism Strategy.  All member organisations were asked for views and there is still the opportunity to respond. The Strategy can be found at

The new Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery will be opening its doors this Spring.  It is intended to promote the whole of Shropshire and the artefacts and exhibitions will inspire visitors and locals to explore further afield.  We would like to enlist all tourism businesses in the county to help promote the new venue.  We will be issuing invitations to visit the new Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery so look out for messages about this in your email inbox.
