New Style of Restaurant comes to Shropshire

New Style of Restaurant comes to Shropshire
A talented young Chef from Shropshire is bringing a new style of restaurant to his home county by launching ‘The Glutton Club’, together with his new fine food catering business, Curious Eats.

Chef George Cavendish from Shrewsbury explains, “The Glutton Club is based on the “pop-up restaurant” style of dining, a concept that was actually started by Charles Darwin in his university years. Charles and his friends would meet every week to sample new, exotic foods and as the food would change so too would the venue, with a different student dorm chosen each week to play host to the tasting.”

George said, “We will be announcing the first venue and dates soon, so please visit www.curiouseats.co.uk where full details will be posted shortly. I grew up in Shropshire and the quality of local produce was one of the things that inspired me to become a chef, so I am really excited to be starting my new business here. I am very thankful for the support I have had so far and I am delighted with my new website.”

Claire Owen from Marketing Shropshire, the local company behind the website www.curiouseats.co.uk said, “It has been a pleasure to work with George and get his new website up and running. As Charles Darwin was born in Shrewsbury, it seems only fitting that his trend for alternating dining venues is continued by a Shropshire chef!”

So, as well as The Glutton Club, George is also busy planning the catering for forthcoming events.”
