The 2013 St Georges Cleobury Beer Festival is fast approaching. The phenomenal success of last three years that was attended by over 2000 Beer and Music enthusiasts has spurred the organisers onto a bigger and better event for 2013.

This year the Festival will start on the Friday evening and continue on Saturday lunchtime through to late Saturday night. The main purpose of the festival is to celebrate St Geroges weekend and what better way to do that than with some fantastic drinks, food and entertainment.

Due to the success of the festival more ales, ciders, food and artists are in attendance than ever before. The festival layout has also changed to cater for more visitors indoors.

Over 30 Ales and ciders from local Breweries, including Hobson’s, Ludlow, Woods, Enville, Bewdley and the world famous Bathams Brewery plus several local ciders.

The festival also celebrates the fantastic local produce available in Shropshire and Worcestershire with fresh hot pork baps, sausage sizzle, BBQ and other delicacies available throughout the event.

Whilst you are enjoying the fine beers, cider and food entertainment will be provided, with an acoustic open mic session organised by local musician Aaron Booton.

The 2012 festival showcased some amazing local talent with over 25 different groups and individuals entertaining the crowd for more than 18 hours! So far we already have confirmed sets from groups, Bring the Rope, Sam Upton, The Wirrel Wailers, Sam Rogers, Lauren Wright and many more.

Everyone is welcome to come to the event and if you would like to do a turn call 01299 271112 to book your slot. Tickets to the event are only £5 and include a festival glass and your first drink, however if you are not a drinker or have a family the event is free to enter.
